A Trip I Wasn’t Expecting

I had just been watching TV on the night of March 18 when I had an ‘incident’ followed by sweating, shaking and a heart going fast to overcome what had just occurred. So a 000 call was made and in very quick time two paramedics were at our house. Some quick tests and lots of questions were followed by heart monitoring equipment being attached. Then I was carefully taken downstairs and loaded up into the awaiting ambulance.

Twenty five minutes later I was in the Emergency Department at Frankston Hospital still on a heart monitor and answering more questions from the doctor who was allocated to me. After a couple of hours it was decided to move me to the cardiac ward where my medical journey would continue.

The way the paramedics dealt with the situation calmly and professionally was extremely impressive. I couldn’t have been in better hands. Thanks!
